એકજ નદી ના કિનારા બે ,

તને તો પાકી ખબર ,

મળ્યા ના કિનારા કેમ ;

કિનારા જો મળે ,

તો જલ -જીવન વહેતુ બંધ થાય ,

નદી સૂકાઈ જાય ;

મળવાનો રસ્તો એક જ  ,

મળી સમંદર ની બાંહો માં 

નદી નું અસ્તિત્વ ખોવાય ;

જયારે મળી જાય ,

જલ થી તારા , જલ મારા ,

આતમ માં આતમ સમાય
