નવી નવેલી 

રૂપ રૂપ નો અંબાર 

નટખટ નાર ;

હું પણ ન્હોતો 

એક અનોખો ,

દુનિયાભર ની ગોરીઓ નો 

છેલ-છબીલો યાર ;

પણ એમ કેમ 

તારી સૂરત , મોહિની મૂરત 

લાગે જાણી પહેચાણી ?

જાણે તને પહેલી વાર નહિ 

અનેક વાર જોઈ છે !

અને જોઈ જેટલી વાર 

કર્યો 

પ્યાર જ પ્યાર !

વાત નથી ખાલી, આ જનમ ની 

આતો છે વાતો ,

ગયા જેટલા 

તેટલા જનમ ની ,

અને 

એક પછી આવશે એક 

એટલા જનમ ની  ;

તે છતાં 

મળી જયારે જયારે 

પૂછ્યું ત્યારે ત્યારે ,

" શું આપણે મળ્યાં છીએ કદી અગાઉ ? 

અને મળ્યા હતા જો, તો યાદ છે ,

નથી આવતું યાદ ?
