ધખધખતા  સૂરજ   નીચે

એક અકેલો પીપળો ,

પીપળા ના છાયાં માં 

એક અટૂલો પથ્થર ,

માની લે એજ મારુ દિલ  ;

પણ તને ખબર છે 

મારુ શરીર 

ક્યાં ક્યાં ફેલાણું છે  ?

આ સપાટ મેદાન થી માંડી 

આભ ને આંબતા 

પથ્થરો ના પહાડ છે ત્યાં  ;

વાદળો વિનાના 

વૈશાખ ની આગ માં 

ધખધખતા સૂરજ નીચે 

જમીન નથી ,

મારુ શરીર છે ,

તરસતું તને 

એ કલેવર મારુ છે  !
