તું  કોણ  છે  મારો  ?

બોલી ,

"  કૈંક તો બોલો  - બોલશો ? "

કહેવા લાયક તો ઘણું હતું ;

કહેવું હતું , જેમ કે ,

" તું વહાલી છો 

પ્રભાત ની લાલી છો "  ;

પણ હોઠો પર આવિ આવિ 

અટક્યા શબ્દો ,

જેમ મહાભારત ના મેદાન માં 

અર્જુન ના હાથ માં ,

ગાંડીવ જાણે થીજી ગયું 

તિર એક ના સરક્યું  !

પણ પાર્થ ને તો  હતો 

પ્રભુ નો સહારો ;

કઈ , કેવી હતી એ લાચારી મારી  ?

એ અફસોસ નો ભાર 

કાંધ પર લઇ 

હજુ ભટકું છું  !

વિચાર એક એવો પણ આવ્યો ,

કેમ તું જ ના બોલી ,

"  શબ્દો ભલે લાચાર છે ,

પણ તારી મારી 

આંખ તો ચાર છે  !

આંખો થી જ કહી દે ,

તું 

કોણ  છે મારો  ?  "
