આજે વાદળો વરસે છે ,

કાળા કાળા વાદળો 

આભ માં ગરજે છે ;

જે હજુ છે અણજાણ ,

નથી જેની કોઈ પહેચાન 

( હોય પણ શકે જે નાદાન ? )

એવી કોઈ સખી ની આશ માં 

આજે 

દિલ તડપે છે ;

પણ 

લઇ ને મારા પ્રેમ ની ભેટ ,

અષાઢી વાદળો 

જયારે હિમ શિખર પર વરસે છે ,

ત્યારે 

વર્ષા ના રિમઝિમ સૂર માં 

સૂર મિલાવી 

અજાણ એ સખી 

મને મળવા 

તરસે છે  ?
