સવાર પડતા ઉઠે સવાલ ,
" કરવાનું છે શું આજ ? "
પછી પડે સાંજ , 'ને પૂછું સ્વગત ,
" કરવાનું હતું શું
'ને કરી બેઠો શું ? "
તારા આગમન પહેલા ,
ન્હોતા કોઈ સવાલ
ના કોઈ જવાબ ;
તારા જવા પછી લાગી છે
સવાલો ની લાંબી કતાર !
સવાલ પણ મારા , જવાબ પણ ;
ફરિયાદ પણ કરું છું ,
પૂછું છું ખુદ ને ,
" કેમ ના બોલ્યો
મને , તારા પર વ્હાલ છે ? "
આજ પણ
વફાઓ મારી કાયમ છે ,
'ને તારા આવવાનો ઇન્તજાર છે
