તારું નામ લઇ
તારા કૈં કૈં ગુણો ને વખાણી ,
આજ તને ભૂલવા વાળા અનેક છે ;
વિચાર્યું તેં ક્યારેય ,
ભલો કે ભૂંડો
તને ચાહવા વાળો ,
યાદ માં તારી
આજ સુધી આંસૂ વહાવવા વાળો
તો એકજ છે ?
ખોળીશ માં મને એ ભીડ માં ,
એ મહેફિલ માં ,
જ્યાં
હાથ માં જામ લઇ મદિરા નો ,
લોકો ઝૂમે છે ,
કરે છે તને કોઈ યાદ ?
શોધીશ માં મને
શરાબીઓ ના એ સંઘ માં ,
ત્યાં નહિ મળું !
મને ગોતવો હોય તો
આવ એકાંત માં ,
જ્યાં જામ જરૂર છે
પણ શરાબ થી નહિ
જામ મારા આંસૂ ઓ થી છલકે છે ;
આંસૂ ઓ થી ભરેલ
હર એક જામ ,
લઇ તારું નામ ,
પીવા વાળો તો , હું એકજ છું
