મોહમયી મુંબઈ ના
દરિયા કાંઠે થી થોડી દૂર ,
ગલી એક સાંકડી માં સાથ ચાલતા ,
ઢળતી સાંજ ટાણે
કહ્યું તેં ,
" તું આજ બહુ સુંદર લાગે છે " !
અફસોસ આજ પણ સતાવે છે ,
હોઠો થી સર્યા મારા , ફક્ત શબ્દ બે ,
" તું પણ " !
અફસોસ ,
ભૂલી ભાન ,
કેમ ન ગાયું એક લાંબુ ચોડું ,
પ્રેમ નું ગાન ?
આજ પણ મનને મનાવું છું ,
કહું છું ખુદ ને ,
" એ સાંજ વેળા તને જોઈ તેવી ,
નથી જન્મી હજુ , દુનિયા માં કોઈ ! "
તારા સૌંદર્ય ને આલેખે તેવા
શબ્દો મારે ક્યાં થી લાવવા ?
લખીશ જનમભર ગીત
પણ નહિ જડે ,
તને કહેવા લાયક કોઈ સાચી રીત !
